Ok, we have decided now to depart for Mali tomorrow early morning. We just got 40l water and food supplies. Supposedly 200km of sand route are waiting for us (among the total of 1500km), well so far we never gor stuck in the sand (besides at the atlantic beach) - so maybe now it is time to finally utilise our shovel and our sand-metal-boards.... (though we not exactly hope for it..). This final move was motivated by some further horror stories of not returned passports and so on... It just feels so much better to take our destiny in our own hands instead of being dependent of arrogant slimeheads... even if there is a chance that the car will not reach Bamako unharmed - we prefer this option than being cheated blatantly and openly in the face - just because they think we are dependant - we aren't! See you in Bamako!
